  1. I too got the email this morning. I've been so caught up in summer classes that I wasn't even thinking about the UTMB app and then when I saw the email I was excited and nervous at the same time. Now i'm going to start counting down the days (& weeks) until I hear back from them lol.
  2. Hi! Here is a link for the Open House schedule: School of Nursing UTMB - Student Affairs - Openhouse I'm in the same boat and probably wont be able to go until sept or later.
  3. Has anyone gone to an Open House event or has signed up for one? I'm signed up for July 14th but may have to reschedule due to a chemistry lab.
  4. Unless I find a great deal on rent or find a family member that lives closer than I do, it seems more feasible for me to commute from houston than to move to galveston. Nicole27: I received my mystar login as well and I think we waiting until contacted for an interview later on down the road; So now begins the worst part: WAITING
  5. I know this is very premature but if accepted, does anyone plan on moving to the Galveston area?
  6. It took about 5 business days for UTMB to send me the supplemental app so it should be coming any day now. Make sure you check your physical mailbox because mine was mailed to me. Also it doesn't hurt to double check NursingCAS to make sure your address is correct.
  7. I sent my TEAS Scores directly to UTMB, as a matter of fact I don't think there was a NursingCAS option on the list to choose from.
  8. Congrats on your TEAS scores!
  9. nicole27: You can have a bachelors in any discipline with a 3.0 or higher.
  10. I completed my application with NursingCAS as well but I havent received the supplemental one from UTMB.... How long after your NursingCAS app was complete before you received the UTMB one? It's been a week since my app was complete...
  11. dee1388: NursingCAS Customer Service: (617) 612–2880 Hours: Monday – Friday (9:00 am–5:00 pm Eastern Time) futurepedrn22: I'm also applying to UH-Victoria's Bacc2 program since it's only 12 months. I missed the dealine for UTMB Bacc2 and at the time I didn't feel competitive enough to apply for the accelerated program there. I still havent taken statistics which is what is holding me back from applying to TWU - I'm already taking 12 hours this summer and don't have the time nor finances to squeeze in another course. I just want to hurry up and start somewhere already .
  12. Yep. Is UTMB the only program you are applying to?
  13. I bought a McGraw Hill 5 prep test for TEAS study guide and practiced it 2 weeks before the actual exam date. I really wish I would have focused more on the science portion but that particular study guide was really good and I'm sure without it I would have failed.
  14. Futurepedrn22 - That is a VERY good TEAS score. My overall TEAS score was only 74% I thought about retaking it but I'm not sure if UTMB only accepts 1 score per an application period. I do know that the TEAS deadline has been extended to June 30th for those who still havent taken it.
  15. Well because I have a mediocre GPA I definately like the idea of not solely being judged by that single aspect. I read up on previous posts from students who went through this last year and it seems as if we are not going to recieve any correspondence from UTMB for a while (late august - september) after the app deadline.
