So, how many of you guys have been wait-listed? Has anyone been offered admission yet from the wait list? My roommate was denied admission in July, but today she got a letter in the mail saying she has been wait-listed. We find this extremely odd and are as confused as can be...and nervous!

I have no records whatsoever but I've had a ton of shots...even Smallpox and Anthrax! gotta love the ARMY....so I had to do the titers...I did get boosters-one was for TDaP and then of course the awesome Bacterial Meningitis--I'm sure I got a few more--but I don't remember as I did it over the summer and I tend to forget it all. I'm sending my records in as soon as I can so ill have one less thing to worry about and "to-do"

At my interview the guy told me that they call people in even on the first day of class! So--unless you get a "not right now" letter and until the semester begins--keep hopeful guys!!

Give it a few more days... From the looks of it-the board meets at the beginning of the week. I've heard Mondays and Tuesdays... Good luck guys! Hang in there!

I wouldn't worry much about the email. It has driving directions and tells you the office number and where to park, that's all....just make sure you show up! (if you don't know where to go, i can tell you via pm)

UTMB doesn't require Chem II but it DOES require an extra science class as opposed to the other BSN Programs. Before you drop it-make sure that your class wasn't taken into consideration for your acceptance. It would never hurt to know a little bit more though

I was denied entrance last semester, and as far as I know-they don't bring applicants back from being denied; they pull candidates in from the wait list. But don't start thinking rejection just yet. Your TEAS is really good, and they are doing interviews for some.

Aaaaah I just about had a heart attack! I was checking mystar right as I was pulling out of a driveway...I'm sure that I almost caused a huge accident--don't remeber...but I was accepted!!! Yeeeiiii!!! Good luck to those of you that are still waiting, and be confident in your interview if you have one pending!

So, my interview today was great, in the sense that it didn't feel like an interview at all. Everyone at the school is really nice and I felt comfortable asking questions but mostly the way the interviewer talked to me made me feel like they really do care. I am happy to have even been given the opportunity to explain myself. I was told that applications are still being reviewed, and that the committee will meet again this week-so let's see how many others get in --please post!!. I was told not go give up hope as they call people in up until the very first day of class--a lot of people don't show up to orientation, first day, etc and others give up their spots as they get accepted to other schools...From what I understood, a wait list has been started but we won't know if we're in it yet until we get a notification... I was assured that at this point "No News is GOOD News." So, Good luck to all! and Congratulations to those who have gotten in already!

Thank you! Will do--I'm thinking it had a lot to do with my personal statement...I'm just happy I'm still being considered for admission and that my application wasn't dismissed as soon as they saw my scores =(

I thought so too, but they emailed me--and of course I called back right away, About an hour ago.

Has anyone else gotten an email requesting a one-on-one interview with the committee? Soooo nervous!
