Hey I called and I said hey I got an interview at UT Houston and have a 4.0 with 9rs med experience and I havent heard from you guys yet. She said for some reason me and about 8 others applications didnt come through until Friday....totally weird!!! RRRggghhhh. She said she I more than qualified for an interview and said the admissions chairman would look it over today then they have off tomorrow and someone should call or email me today letting me know. She said if for some reason I didnt hear from them to call her Thurs morning and she would let me know if I can come Friday for my interview. I would be shocked if I didnt given my grades. I would contact her if I were you because it might the same scenario for you guys that have heard nothing. Hope this eases some of your pain

Hoooooray emag! We were worried about you!

she already called me back...I will be there Friday at 1

wow this is crazy! I can't call (I'm at work and don't have cell reception here and UTMB number is long distance from my work phone). Guess I'll just have to wait and see if I was one of the applications that didn't come through.

:ancong!: emag I am so glad to hear you got an interview. An interview with UTMB is an acceptance in my opinion. Yay!!!!!

awwww shucks katie lou :) thank you!

I know what you mean Katie, I'm only 18. So, I hope that doesn't affect my acceptance even though am I a CNA. :specs:

18!!! WOW!! I bet they'll be impressed that you already have all of your pre reqs done! That's insane lol but I definitely give you mad props. I wish I could have done that!!! Question about the background check...do we have to do that BEFORE we interview, or after we've been accepted. It worries me a bit, I have never had a traffic violation...BUT I do have a MIC (terrible I know :( ). It was just a case of being in the wrong place at the wrong time...and I had only drank ONE beer. Total waste of a MIC if you ask me lol. I hope they don't hold that against me too much. I was young and stupid..and it will be expunged from my record when I'm 21. So anyways, back to my question lol, do we need to do it now?

I did basically a year and a half in high school, it was difficult and stressful but my drive to get in is evident. :D I got the email confirmation for the interview today and they said they want it done before the interview but I had already completed mine when I applied.

Am still looking for Apartment that is close to school...or a room mate where we get 2 bedroom at a moderate price... I have been looking but no luck yet..

Good luck to those of you going for interview, you will make it.

Hey guys I just called UTMB...the number emag gave us...and they messed up my courses....they did not code them properly and they had me email them course descriptions and then they will get back to me...so if ya'll haven't heard anything by now CALL them...it could pay off!!!

Sammie, I have been looking for an apartment in Galveston as well. I have been reading the reviews of several complexes and they have gotten mixed reviews, so that makes me nervous. I don't want to select a complex and regret it after I move in. Are you wanting it to be really close to school or just on the island? The Bacc2 program only requires us to go to campus like once a week, so I'm looking at places a little farther from campus because they seem to be nicer and safer.
