Ms sealy have you gotten a headache trying to find a scholarship because I have. All of them are pretty much taken until like summer and fall. And the stipends are limited becuz its limited money.

I'm new to this thread but i have an interview too for UTMB nursing school friday the 13 at 1130.

ITS BEEN A WHILE!!!! I had my interview on Friday and it went very well...I had an interesting day leading up to the interview. I went to check my email to write down the address and saw that I had an email from UTHSC...I shouldnt have opened it BUT i did and sadly it was a rejection email!!!! what ever happen to mailing letters!!!!???? anyways i had to kind of brush it off because I was literally about to be out of the door for my interview at UTMB. When i got to the SON everyone was sooooo nice!!!! I got there like 45 minutes early and they saw me right then...it was a total 180 from the experience I had at the interview at UTHSC...for those who also had interviews there...you know what I am talking about. The women who interviewed me was a part time teacher who was kind of helping out and I was her FIRST nursing school interview...EVER!!!! She was very very nice though and wrote down sooooo much and at the end of the interview she told me that she hoped that I get into the program!!!! All in all it was a pretty good day and a good interview....I feel much better about then when I interviewed at UTHSC....UTMB was just much more personable!!!! They said I should know something in about a week!!!!

Ms sealy - I still haven't actually recieved anything from UTMB... I'm just going off of what the lady emailed me. However, I already have my FAFSA filled out and submitted. I did go ahead and change it to say I was interested in work-study though, since I didn't get into the BACC2 program (and can work without keeping it secret). I wonder how soon they'll get back to me with financial aid offers 'n stuff...

Alana - I know exactly what you're talking about with the two interviews. In fact, that's why I withdrew my application from UTHSC even before they made the decisions. I just loved my UTMB interview, as they really made it seem like they were there for the students.

i know jazzy...it's so much info to filter thru..it's too late for most spring deadlines..most of the scholarships want letters of recommendation from the falculty..you gotta be accepted into a program first..etc etc

Good morning! How's everyone? Any new happen overnite? I had to take a break and get a well needed stress relief massage! WOW the stress has me all tensed up!

I just got off the phone with UTMB and spoke to one of the coordinators for the interviews. She said that all of the e-mails have pretty much been sent out.
