UTMB Spring 2010

Also I have NO CLUE what classes to register for or books to buy....do we do this after Orientation? I am so confused please help....also do we have to wear a certain colored shoe for clinicals?

i'm hoping they give us that information in our acceptance packets and at orientation...it doesn't even say online that i've been accepted, it still says pending, so i don't think we can really do anything yet. its only been a couple of days, i'm sure we will get all the information we need in the next couple of weeks (i understand your frustration though). I would assume we would need the white nursing shoes, they have them at the different uniform stores around houston, but if anyone knows of good deals, please share :-)

As for the PDA i went out and bought a smartphone yesterday that will work with the program.

As for regestering classes I have no idea. If i get off work early enough I will call and ask someone and post tomorrow what they said.

RedOne-My eConnect still says pending yet I got my packet last week. In the packet its just forms to fill out, shot record stuff, etc. Should I send "D" an email maybe? I am just curious as to when school starts, what the hours of orienation are since it only gave dates, what we should buy before school starts if anything, when and how do we register, where do we get our books, all that jazz because if orientation is 5th and 6th and school starts on the 8th thats not even two days to take care of all that you know?

Yeah, I'm freaking about the same thing. I got a call on Friday congratulating me on getting in several days after I dropped off my acceptance :-P. I was SO confused. I can't wait to see what's available for financial aid, what our classes will be like, and what we need to do when.

I sent an email with 10 questions so hopefully she responds tomorrow and I will let you guys know what she says

ok UTMB called me and i missed their call cuz i was at school and was not able to talk with any one cuz i got out of school at 5 and everyone was gone. anyway they said that i was a good applicant and that they needed to talk to me about my course work (im guessing because Im still talking chem and stats). so i hope that they call tomorrow morning! wish me luck!!!

emag..i got the iphone so i could have the pda and phone all in one (less to carry around). and i just learned i can watch movies on it...wooo whooooo...

so we still need to put up prayers for katieLou and Jade have you heard anything yet or called them?

I had a question about books. Would you recommend buying the books. I have found many on a website that allows you to rent the books. Do you find yourself referencing them a lot after your classes?
