UTA Spring 2012

Alas! Here I go again!;) This thread is dedicated to all hopefuls to either of the programs- AP or traditional. Let's partake in the sharing of ideas, suggestions, and/or insight in the "intricacies" of this nursing program. Former grads, new or current students are encouraged to chat. Knowledge is power, indeed! Continued blessings and success to all! Good Luck!:D

Is anyone else waiting on their letter? I am beginning to question my sanity...did i apply? did they lose my application?

Haha...seems like I am the only one on the forum still waiting to hear something....

I received my letter few hours ago and I am on a waiting list as well. I only applied to the AP-BSN program and I am not partnered.

I received my letter for the traditional program yesterday and I am on the waiting list. I haven't received my letter for the AP program so I don't know what to think.

I got accepted to the AP BSN program. Not partnered.

congrats! Katybusymom... what are your stats if you don't mind me asking?

I wonder how many of us are on the waitin list?! Omg this is nerve racking.

@lena22, I have a 3.5 science gpa. I took all of my sciences at UTA. I had a 4.0 until Chemistry killed me:( My regular gpa is 3.73. I also got accepted at UT Health Science Center in Houston. I'm not sure where I'm going just yet.

I'm staying in Houston no matter which school I choose.

@katybusymom, your grades are good and you have a good chance of being called. The only thing is they can call us for an opening as late as the first day of school. I'm not sure I have that kind of patience, uhhhh

At least you have more than one choice, I wish I hadn't put all my eggs in one basket. :smackingf

I still haven't received a letter either. I'm getting really anxious.

Thank god KS!!! I was beginning to wonder if I was the only one!!! Well keep me posted - I'm hoping that it'll come tomorrow

Me too. I live in Longview, about 150 miles from Arlington, so I'm hoping that's the reason, but it looks like there are people from Houston who already have letters. I don't know how they sent the letters out, but I hope that I get an answer tomorrow, too. I just knew it would be here today. I'll keep you posted and you do the same.
