I am once again studying to take the NCLEX again, after failing the first time. I can't start my job until I pass this test. Because of this, my life will revolve solely around the NCLEX for the next 9 weeks. After that, I have to go through the whole process of emotions of fear, stress, anxiety, etc AGAIN. I think that there are other terrible things that I would rather endure than going through this ordeal again. I live in a desert climate, so I would rather be bitten by snakes, spiders or scorpions (as long as they are non life threatening). Or, I'd rather have a root canal or suffer broken bones, even though my pain threshold is very low.

I live in Florida, so I think it's appropriate to say I'd rather get eaten by an alligator!

I'd rather jump out of an airplane (I'm deathly afraid of heights) than take that test again!

I'd rather perform my own hysterectomy. With a fork.
Give you an idea of my feelings toward it?

I am terrified of snakes but I would rather walk on a path covered entirely by snakes than take that test again!

Run across the state of Florida - from Miami to Jacksonville - without stopping - naked - in the middle of the day - in August.
(I'm going in for round 2 this month and I would SERIOUSLY do any of the above if I could opt out it :)
