Keep doing Kaplan qbank questions (they literally have hundreds) and you will be golden. Good luck!!

Kaplan I suggest too. I passed it in a flash with Kaplan course. 70 questions and I was done.

Also consider NCSBN's NCLEX Review. It's one of the things I used to review. Lots of questions and they are hard which gets you thinking.

50 buck for 3 weeks of access. Reasonable price, if you can afford to, consider subscribing to a Qbank like this. Use it every day and you'll be set!

Good luck!

I am going to come at this from a different angle. You guys have gone through school and presumably have passed. You know this stuff! It's fine to study but don't freak out and stress yourselves anymore than you already are.

Instead, concentrate on being healthy. At least in the last week or so before the exam. Take walks on the beach or in the woods with your dog or whatever. Play the piano (if you can) listen to calming music. Avoid caffiene and alcohol. Try to eat right and above all SLEEP...this is so very important.

Again, listen to me, you learned this stuff in nursing school...taking a course will not teach you anything new that will be on the NCLEX. Unless you have dementia or some sort of senility, it's very doubtful you have forgotten the information. However, being so stressed that you cannot think straight will alter your ability to retrieve the information when you need it and cramming and cramming will only stress you more.

Study if you must, but it's essential to take time to destress and sleep. Especially the night before.

I did not study at all for the NCLEX, because, my theory was, "If I didn't learn this in nursing school, I am not going to learn it in 2 weeks" However, I did psych myself up by repeatedly telling myself that I know this and I will do well...etc, etc I was suprisingly calm. (and those were the days where we took the test over 2 days time, 4 sections with 250 questions per section)

So you will do fine..honest...you don't need help-you can help yourself:)

well, i disagree with diva rn, it is not that you are trying to learn everything, is having the right info handy... if i ask you about the type of games a 9 yr old likes, possible you remember. now, you will start using the right test strategies to take 2 answers out, then leave 2, if you have 2 distractors very appealing and tempting, you better have the closes answer handy or trying to use some critical thinking to help you.

i seen some magna cum laude students failing the first time, even with all those a's. the board raised the level of questions you need to pass in 2010, the questions are at higher level (not the simple ha think htn), sata questions are now common in anyone's test, which test you basic knowledge in 5 options, you miss one, you miss the whole question. therefore, thinking this is a simple test, for me, is... well, that is my point of view; i may have some sort of senility at hand...

ebbyebb i will review my abstract material, important points of my recent review study, review the questions and rationales, review your past questions you have wrong and topic weaknesses.

I took the nclex-RN this past wednesday, and Passed with 80 something questions. I prepared using HURST review, I must tell you this is a Golden Ticket and a guarentee to PASS. This was my 3rd time taking this exam. In the past I used Kaplan Strategies book as well as lacharity and exam cram. The hurst review is excellent because if you know your Core Content without a doubt or hesitation then you will definitely pass!!!! Goodluck to all the future test takers you can do it just stay focused on the prize!!! oh btw i used Saunders 4edition for practice questions!!!!
