I was just called to the boys restroom during 1st period for some DRAMATING (drama vomit noises). There were more students in and around that area than were in class. Nobody had passes.
Really??? I think a middle school kids should basically be on lockdown this time of year. Roaming the hallways only means trouble!!

I hate that tiny vaping device that pretty much looks like a USB drive.

Our school is trying to crack down on vaping but they are sneaky. And, yes, every year in May, I want to take the bridge.
We have a problem with Vaping too. Middle School 6-7-8 th graders. Scary thing about those, the nicotine is so much stronger and they can dab marijuana in them as well.

Yes, this is what we are experiencing also. Do you guys have any resources that tells you what the latest drug trends that students are using? (ie...Juuling with THC, laced gummy bears)

Then the visits for 'I feel dizzy' pick up as well.
yes, there was a conference held by the area police. Some of our nurses and administrators went. Ill be honest, my best resource for this right now are my college aged daughters.

Vaping has increased dramatically at my school in recent weeks. According to a student, another thing that kids are now doing is hiding pills inside the pop sockets on the back of their phones. Apparently, you can take the outer part off and there is room in there for pills. I let our campus police officer know about that yesterday.
My son attends a different high school in my district, and he says that he sees kids everywhere right now with those Juul devices. What kills me is that he told me that my SIL allows my niece to use one. I think it might be time to start posting some articles to FB about those, to make sure she sees them.
