Just a tiny rant. I had a sub yesterday and when I came back, my room was moved around, and she left stuff on my desk. One student told me she cleaned my whole room and commented how filthy it was. Lady, I clean my room every day, so I have no clue why you needed to clean it.
I came back and I had to move things around, and put things the way they were.
I put a note in my sub folder asking for them not to move things around and to clean up after themselves.

It did and it made me mad. It's like, I understand if you had nothing to do but please do not tell my students that my room was a mess and make it sound like I'm incompetent.

I was out one day 2 weeks ago.....3 kids with lice in my office never picked up. Sub let them watch movies and play and stuff. My office looked like a day care center with toys and stuff every where. My desk was completely rearranged. That is the 2nd time my office has been rearranged while I was out.

Usually the other subs don't do this, but only this one did.
They told me she was very professional, nice and cleaned my room because she was bored. I'm good with this, but at least please don't tell the kids I'm messy.
Hey at least she organized my clothes. :3

Oooh this would have driven me crazy. I am a little bit controlling about my desk and office organization. I like my stuff the way I put my stuff. Also the audacity to complain to students about the cleanliness of your office? WOW
It upset me as well, but I'll let it fly. It happens again, I will call her company.

I had one a couple of weeks ago that arranged my meds. I was like.. yeah … no. I have them in there organized by name/grade/time etc. Please don't mess with it.

The last time I was out sick my sub said she "organized" for me. Now some of my cabinets were organized and straightened up which I appreciate. However, she also moved several things that I use daily and I had to search when I had kids standing there for some stuff which irritated me. I felt like a sub in my own school! I won't go into too much detail but it took me a half an hour to put things like my meds, supplies, etc back the way I want them. I have a reason I leave things the way I do and since I work here every day I don't think it's very respectful to change it all around. I don't mind if someone wants to organize my clothes closet or wipe stuff down with clorox wipes but please do not rearrange things to YOUR liking when you probably won't even be back this year!
