So a recent thread got me thinking (which is never a good thing) It appears we have number of Stephen King Readers. I suggest we do a nursing DX for our favorite King Character!
BTW if you liked The Shining (Book not movie) you are going to love Dr. Sleep

A bunch of people in The Tommyknockers - "Altered sexual function as evidenced by replacement of normal genital tissues with tentacles."
...Too much? I can think of an altered bowel function one for a bunch of people in Dreamcatcher, too.

Dr. Sleep is the sequel to The Shining. It was really really good.
I loved it because it answered all the questions left hanging by the Shining

Stephen King is one of my favourite authors. I've read his books for 30 years. I remember watching The Shining as a young kid and I find it still disturbing. Most of the movies don't do his work justice but his writing is great.

Good, I was looking for a legit source on whether this was worth it. LOVED Mr. Mercedes. I will get Finders Keepers.

I love Uncle Stevie!! (he used to write a column in Entertainment Weekly in which he referred to himself as Uncle Stevie- I'm not related to him!!). I also enjoy how he calls his dog "Molly- aka the thing of evil" whenever he posts about her on Facebook.
No nursing diagnoses here, I don't like to mix work and pleasure.
P.S. He is giving a a book talk at my daughter's college so she is going to go see him.

This may be silly, but I think it's great how his hometown is protective of him. I know someone from there and if random fans show up asking about him everyone plays dumb.
Thanks for the review on Finders Keepers. Hadn't read that one but I will get on the wait list at the library.
All hometowns protect their celebs.
Mine does.
