Ooooo what fun... I remember those days... :::: screaming running into the street naked, pleading insanity! ::::
As one CNA put it one time, "I move from room to room through the bathroom doors so that no one ever sees me or knows where I am!" and the other observation, "Yes, they always know when to call out sick!".
I have to thank my floor nurses and aides today. They were fabulous and helped me with the stuff I didn't know about the residents, which was just about everything.
The numbers the computer kicks out re: psych drugs, UTIs etc bear no relation to reality.
This will NOT happen to me again. I told the DON that as soon as they leave I am setting us up a spreadsheet with all the numbers they want on it. I wasn't a programmer for nuthin'. It'll take me NO time to keep it current and I will never have to stand there like a deer in the headlights again.
Nuh uh.

After reading many of your posts (enjoyable I might add) I think you got this one under control. Good luck! We are expecting "them" anytime now...
By the way, did you mean the QI report? No program to track these numbers??!! Eeek! Get together with your MDS nurse and DON!
We have a program to track them. They're not right. EVERY woman on my unit had a UTI according to the system. GAH! We have three.
I have no way to easily track who is a what assist, yada yada yada.
