Spring 2012 check in..how did everyone do?

I'm feeling like superwoman, personally. I bust my butt in my first semester for my general courses in psych, soc,english, and math and came out of it with a 4.0 :) I'm taking A&P for the summer (inside of a month,augh!any tips?!) and algebra as well.

Congrats!

I just took the last of my nursing prereqs and also came out with a 4.0

Just one bit of advice though, I would reconsider taking A&P and algebra together in a

But i had to take anat and physio separately, so if this is a 2-semester thing and you guys do anatomy first, it might be doable with algebra. Depends on your willingness to have no social life during the summer, lol

I made it out with a 3.95. Not thrilled but it is what it is.

Spring semester is over and summer started today. Spring I took chemistry and lab, physiology and lab, microbiology and lab, plus a computer class. I got all As. This semester I am taking pathophysiology, nutrition, intro to nursing, and American politics. I had to take 12 credits to be full time.

A&P 1 = A

chemistry = A

sociology = A

nutrition = B

3.7

taking A&P starting tomorrow for 6 weeks along with English II

Good job, everyone!

I just started in Spring. I took english composition I, sociology, and music. I made all A's.

Congrats everyone. I work full time and took Biology 1 and Chem 1, both with labs, and got A in both. It was tough but happy to have learned quite a bit over the past few months.

I finished up my pre-reqs and currently have a 4.0

Now onto my co-reqs. I'm taking micro in the Fall.

A&P I, A&P I Lab, and English 1102 -- straight A's this spring. My GPA remains a 4.0. Summer semester starts June 4, and I'll be taking A&P II, A&P II Lab, and Healthcare Communication.

A&P 1 ***A-

A&P 1 Lab ***A

Chemistry ***A

Chem Lab ***A

Term GPA 3.88 which I am happy with!

All pre-req's are done. Waiting on the decision about my NS application. If I get accepted, I will only take A&P 2 in the fall with my nursing classes. If I am not accepted then I will take A&P 2, Micro, and then a history and a computer class and I will be done with all of my co-req's and gen ed's and will only have nursing classes to take

congratulations everyone!

Does anyone know how well my chances are if I had to take a remedial math first semester? passed it obviously, had 100's on every test..but worried that might mess with my chances of getting into the program!

oh, and i'm taking the month off from work so I can focus on my classes for this summer session :)

Remedial math should have no bearing on getting in to a program. Everyone I know had to take at least 1 remedial math course. Some had to start at basic math.

I made it out with a 3.59 for the year, which had I been more resposible my first semester could have been a good bit better! But I got accepted into the nursing program I applied to so I guess that's what matters!
