Mar 16, 201115 yr hi just curious where everyone is applying from (if you're all mostly san diego county)? i'm applying from the FL area, and also if most of you have already graduated/or are graduating soon?
Mar 16, 201115 yr Hi,It may be too soon, but has anyone heard back at all? I am also from the SD area..THANKS....
Mar 17, 201115 yr Graduating in May. School in San Diego. Have my critical care rotation at Sharp Memorial and I volunteer as a nurse extern at sharp memorial as well. I'm hoping those will both help!! Good luck to you all :)
Mar 17, 201115 yr I'm from San Diego. I actually work at Sharp...been an RN for 7 months, but wanting to change units.
Mar 20, 201115 yr Hello Everyone!!I am so glad that I found this thread. I have been involved with the Scrippts thread and we have all been such a support system for one another through the interview process and the job offers. I hope this thread will be the same thing. I too was stressed that I had not even recieved an email confirming my applications. Glad to hear that most everyone was in the same boat. I must say that it took me forever to complete that question section of the application.BSN, Orange County
Mar 20, 201115 yr Yes, the supplemental form was brutal and took me way longer than the suggested 30-40 minutes. I did not receive confirmation that my application was received, but I don't think they are sending that out. Keeping my fingers crossed that I get a chance to interview!
Mar 20, 201115 yr I did not get confirmation email either. I am from CA but going to school on the east coast, graduating this May. Good luck to all!!
Mar 21, 201115 yr I didn't get a confirmation email either. I guess we all didn't get a confirmation email. Well I wish the best to all of you
Mar 21, 201115 yr I also work for Sharp. Graduated in mid Jan, took boards in mid Feb... am hoping to transition into an RN position this summer. I don't think they were sending out confirmation emails this go around.
Mar 21, 201115 yr I didn't get an email confirmation the last round of applications in Nov., just a phone call from the recruiter for a phone interview. I think with 1500+ applications (probably even more now), some of us just fall through the cracks unfortunately. From what I heard, Memorial hired only internal applicants (those who had been working at the hospital throughout school) or people with extensive nursing experience.
For those who applied to Sharps summer 2011 program
has anyone heard anything yet?
