Sharp Summer 2011 New Grad Program

I called them and asked for how many applicants they are interviewing, and the lady said it depends on which group/batch you are in. For the first one I think there are 16, and for the second one there are 14 so far. She doesn't know how many positions available but she said we could ask during our panel interview. From what I heard Sharp Grossmont ER is finishing their interviews today and will be letting people know sometime next week. One person told me they six positions then another said eight.

What would be the possible questions asked during a panel interview? Its for Sharp CV m/s tele.. would they ask? Sorry for the noobieness, its my first panel interview for my nursing career... Thank you!

Sharp Grossmont's ED just started making calls. I got the job! I was too floored to ask how many positions they were offering! I think she said they interviewed about 25 people total.

MGM619- The hardest question I was asked was, "Out of the 200 very qualified applications we reviewed, what is the one thing you want me to remember about you?"

I wasn't prepared and had to take a moment to collect my thoughts. They also asked about challenges/obstacles I've faced and how I handled them. Definitely lots of behavioral questions to see how you think. It was a bit daunting to be sitting at the end of a large table opposite five interviewers. Just be as confident and calm as you can. Someone else asked what our backgrounds were, so: I have my BSN from Sacramento State, I was in the Navy for 5 years as a Hospital Corpsman, I graduated in December 2010 and have ACLS, PALS and an EKG course. I had a 3.9 GPA, which I only mention because the recruiter requested my final transcript before calling to schedule an interview. I'd definitely say that if you can afford it, get the ACLS and if interested in peds PALS/NRP.

Good luck everyone. UCSD's new grad postings are still up, I think there are five or six units hiring this time around. I had a lot of rejections before I got this break so keep your heads up! "Just keep swimming!"

Hey there SDN9999! Just wanted to say DON'T GIVE UP!!!! Keep your head up. You will get this!!! Ive applied to over 30 positions it feels like and I am still applying and hopeful. Yea it stinks to get rejected, but we will get this! I know it!!! Don't know when but it'll happen!
