Salary?

I would like to know what are some of the highest salaries you have earned or heard of for starting LPNs?

I'm currently making 27.00 per hr. I started out making 15.25 in 2012. I worked for a LTC. I now work in PDN.

I started at 18 in FL. But I have made as low as $16.50 and as high as $22.

In California I know home health pays like $17, but I made 27 on hospice and 33 for Kaiser.

Specializes in Pediatrics, Emergency, Trauma.

I earned 35/hr in a pool position at a rehab hospital; base pay was about 24.

Specializes in Case mgmt., rehab, (CRRN), LTC & psych.

My highest pay rate as an LVN had been $27.04/hourly at a bottom-of-the-barrel nursing home in Texas in 2010, right before I earned my RN licensure. This nursing home has since closed.

Specializes in M/S, LTC, Corrections, PDN & drug rehab.

The highest I made was $22/hr in corrections. I'm in Texas as well.

I started working as a LPN in 2013 with a starting salary of $21.00. Now with a bit of experience here at my new place, I make $24.50. I live in NYC btw.

wow KS needs to catch up, I just got offered an LPN postiton and they told me starting pay was $12 then bump me to $14. I kindly turned it down as it was an hour drive one way. Another place I applied for is starting out at $17 which is great here in KS.

Specializes in Emergency Room Nursing.

Canada is ridiculous. I make 22.39 + 14% in lieu of benefits so it comes to 25.50 ish. Hospitals make 27$... out west its 30$ starting and travel LPNs make like 45$ with bonus. Like i said- ridiculous.

I'm with an agency here in NYC. 25/hr at a LTC I wish I can make my way into a hospital!

I am looking into getting into traveling as an LPN while I finish my RN online. I am curious which agency to use? Want to try to get most for my time LTC and SKILLED and med surgery exp for 8 yrs.

Specializes in Rehab.

Highest paying was 30hr lowest was 19.25hr this is in Philadelphia Pennsylvania
