I just checked out an RN in the zip code I live in and it seems to be pretty right on for what I am making as a brand new (well, almost one year old) RN... hope others can give you some imput too... good luck!

According to salary.com, I am slightly underpaid. I thought that anyway.

Great question! Anyone in MA have input on this? :) It would be wonderful if it is indeed correct.
Oh, and where do New Grad nurses tend to fall on the scale? Perhaps it's too hard to pin down, but there's a huge difference between that 10th-25th-50th percentile, and it's really difficult to know what to expect.
And oh, ANOTHER thing...Any info on New Grad rates anywhere in Springfield, MA? Baystate Medical Center, Mercy, Holyoke Hospital, etc?
Done. Thanks.

From what other nurses have posted, NO.
Every time I post the salary range for my hospital other nurses on this site tell me that according to salary.com I am a liar.
I have never lied and that site must be way off for the Bay Area in CA.
The site must go by averages so some hospitals will fall below and some will fall above.

I checked the two week net paycheck and it was extremely close, like within $100-$150.

If Im not mistaken, the salaries they post are based on what people are reporting to the site as their pay, from what I have found it has been pretty darn close to reality

If I worked 5 jobs, agency or travel, then my salary for my area would be accurate.
Since I just work 1 job, not agency or travel - it's way off, like close to $10K a year way off.
