if k+ was the only level drawn, i think it would mean "stand alone" test.
that is the only context i've ever seen it used.

hmmm it was on the mar..not the lab. I thought it was weird but i've only been in nursing school about 12 weeks. :)

This is a type of K tab. I know that Abbott and Schering manufacture the SA tab. Not sure if other companies do.
Thanks! :) It probably stands for the company. I will double check with my instructor tomorrow. I wish they would of at least put PO on there though.

What the mouse said;). Generics can't use extended release. They use sustained action instead.
