Hi LunahRN,

I would love to chat with you about your experience with the Chamberlain online RN-BSN program. I am researching and comparing programs between UOP, SUNY Delhi, and Chamberlain. Of course price is a concern but I would also like to start this fall and would love to complete the program in under 2 years. I would like to continue on with my MSN/NP and as I am 42 years old now and I would love to be done with school before I turn 50.

I have read that most people would attend Chamberlain do not get more the 1/2 of their tuition covered with Financial Aide. Considering the high cost I am not sure that will work for me.

I spoke to an adviser a year ago and decided against it due to the cost. I am now reconsidering them but want to see how people financially make it work.

I would also like to see what you know of the Fast-Track option, with getting your BSN in 3 semesters. I would love to do that but not sure if it is possible for me.

Please PM or message me when you have a chance.

Thanks!

Mike

Lunah, do you know if Chamberlain accepts ECE A&P and Micro? I really, really dont want to have to repeat pre reqs if I dont have to!! also, if you dont mind me asking, why did you chose them over ECE for BSN? hope that didn't seem to nosey...i'm just trying to figure out which route to go :)

Thanks!

Yes, Chamberlain did accept the EC A&P and Micro. After an unofficial eval from both schools, my 206 credits fit better and went further with Chamberlain than EC. Not nosy at all! :)

DonovanRN,

I stumbled across an old post of yours in which you described being a new grad looking for a second chance. I am in the same boat as you were in then. I am wondering if you could please share with me some tips that helped you secure another job? Did you end up taking the urgent care position or the hospital position? I don't have enough posts to PM you yet, but could you please send me one if you're able to? ...or reply here if that's easier? I'll appreciate any advice you have to offer and I hope that all is going well for you! :-)

Good luck with your Chamberlain program.

Does chamberlain has a class that start in AUG 30th???

I'm doing my pre-req in a 2 year college but it looks like i have to do my ASN-BSN 10 years.I have a family with full time work.I need a quicker route to BSN.Pls Help.I did Math 97,99.Eng 1101,1102 already. If it is online program,i wont do them.I did my Diploma in Nursing in Nigeria but coming here, in georgia.i wasnt given any credit.i have to do nursing all over again even thou i'm working as an RN.Pls help me guys with your valued ideas.

I actually just started the program last Monday. They were very generous accepting my old credits. Out of a 14 class ciricullum, I have to take 10 classes. I wanted to clep but they accepted so many credits, clep would make me short graduation credits. I'll graduate with 2 credits over the required amount. These classes are short (8 wks) and very intense with lots of paper writing, but very doable. So far, very nice teachers.

I chose Chamberlain because I can't go to class, have to raise kids, have to work full time. Seems like it will fit in to my schedule.
