And just like that... it's over.
Honestly, I never had a false positive. I used hand sanitizer every day and soy sauce with Chinese food. BUT, I also never did a Peth test. Mine were all urine. I feel... If you're clean, you can prove it. Always. Best of luck!

And just like that... it's over.
I finished my monitoring today. 3 years. TPAPN. Very anticlimatic, if I do say so myself. Guess I will have an everything bagel tomorrow to celebrate. That's the biggest thing I've missed. If you just started... it's doable. Very doable. Just take it step by step. I think I'm still in shock...

TPAPN and Peth test
Three times... wow! My biggest question is, How much did it cost you?
-
TPAPN and Peth test
I know TPAPN can use the Peth test but does anyone have first hand knowledge of them actually using it? I'm almost done... about a month left in my contract. Whoo hoo I have a large purchase I am wanting to make and I'm wondering if I should go ahead or just wait. Thanks!

IPN blood test
Does TPAPN do blood test? I've never heard of anyone getting one.

How much will your employer know?
My employer only knows I'm in monitoring. She knows NO details. And a good manager, won't ask why.

Need ideas for safe Insect repellent
I live in Texas too. Educate me please, what are you worried about in commercial insect repellants?

Affinity abnormal Opinion 4
I had a test post as abnormal. My CM said it was dilute. Only thing that happened was I received an email.

First source solutions
I recently went 7 weeks without testing. Drove we nuts towards the end... I was about to email my CM. I thinks it's all normal.

Entering inpatient rehab today...good vibes please
I, too, left behind my babies when I went inpatient. Best decision I ever made. Unlike you, I was unable to stay clean on my own and needed to go inpatient to quit. I wish you the best of luck. It goes by quick and the little ones don't even remember me being gone, thankfully. The first visit is the hardest.... I balled after they left but it was easier the next few times.

Trying to find work
When I started my job hunt, I only applied to restriction/monitoring friendly places. As suggested above, the SNF/LTC and dialysis route. I only applied to 2 places and landed a job in dialysis. Do lots of research on this site and practice how you will respond to question and it will pay off. It's a tough road, one that many have walked before. You got this and have come so far. Best of luck! P.S. If you have been sober awhile, I know treatment centers will hire restricted license nurses as well.

Past DUI
Yeah, after reading and being a part of this group I realized how rare it was to NOT have to do TPAPN from that DWI. Jokes on me though... cause I'm in TPAPN now. :-/

Past DUI
I'm in Texas and did a declaratory statement to the BON here prior to getting my license in 2011. The DWI was from 2007. The BON had no problem with letting me sit for my exam. No monitoring program or anything. Took them forever to get back with me about it though. I had enough sense to not blow in the machine so there was no factual data that I was drunk. Just the field sobriety test and the officers word. I plead no contest and did probation with community service. All standard stuff.

Seriously?! Grrrr.
í ½í±† This is my biggest fear. The first day of my period is out of control. And I get tested by a dude. He's going to have to deal with it one day soon, I'm sure.

Seriously?! Grrrr.
I just need to complain for one second... why do I always get picked to test on my day off?! I have 3 small children, 2 of which I have to get watched now so I can go pee in a cup. The oldest is in pre-school. Ugh, so annoying. Bonus... it's in the teens here in Texas so its freezing balls outside. Yes, there are places I can go to later this evening but I refuse to pay an additional $20-$30 for a collection fee when I'm already paying $55 to piss. Sorry, rant over. Have a great day everyone!
