Where did you go to school if I may ask?

I would go to Stony Brook if I were you. They are very involved with their students and not politics of student loans and saving face. There are no politics with Stony Brook. From what I hear Frontier caters to L & D nurses the most...they say they don't but its not truthful The good reviews they have are only based on those who have graduated. I do my homework and as far as I know and have heard is that Frontier pumps out the students and rolls in those student loans but don't have the clincial sites they promise on their website. I think they promise like 10,000 but its not true. From what i hear a lot of the sites are no longer taking students or have expired contracts. I would heavily do some research before choosing a school. Ask around too and find out in your state if there is an actual potential of your finding a job as a CNM. You might want to lean toward Women's Health unless your state has a great need for CNM's. I'm really sick of these diploma mills out there, its been a struggle for many students. Oh I want to add that another CNM friend recommended Texas Tech..I've heard great things about this and she's a military midwife working in New York

Sorry I don't have facebook anymore..I just hate it Plus a lot of my cousins are hunters and I hate seeing their kills..I'm a vegetarian so that was the last straw for me. Is there another way? I'm checking for my sister I'll see if she wants to be on facebook.

I wouldn't say "extremely" there appears to be more students coming in than clinical sites and jobs. I think in researching schools one must consider all that's being claimed. Yale, for instance, is a little more honest with their projections and numbers when handling their student's future outcomes. Wishing you all the best.

How does it work for clinicals there?

Be sure to have your clinical site lined up from the get-go It may be difficult getting precepters to commit this early on which can be a struggle for many students at Frontier. Just stay on top of it every month

I heard that too that its really just a money milll...more students pouring in with no clinicals sites or jobs. I'm just curious to how Stony Brook and University of Cincinnati do their clinicals and how performance is critiqued?

Finding preceptors that aren't in it for just the money or you taking their patient load is a royal pain...unless you have a personal network its going to be a royal pain in the patootty ...I would go to a school that has a clinical placement program.

Youll get in they accept everyone Its not worth stressing over..Got to get those student loans going...Try at the beginning to get your clinical sites because its a nightmare if you don't

So I just finished third term at FNU Does anyone have any suggestions for getting through the rest of the program for CNEP? Its been brutal and my nerves are shot. I need some encouragement
