Your facility should offer you that training. As an LVN you can not give IV abx or touch central lines.

That sounds really unsafe. Are you saying there is no way to identify your patients or which medications they are supposed to be taking?

Just say you are feeling nervous and let them know you appreciate any advice/help they can offer. Don't try to negotiate patient numbers. That doesn't come off well.

I have known male co-workers who love to assume that certain patients would only want a female nurse. Check with the patient and respect their answer.
