    I think it's great that you're planning ahead! I would recommend taking pre-calc. You might decided to major in biology instead of nursing, or double major. The math background would benefit you in that case. Good luck!

    Not so. Varicella is spread by contact as well, according to the CDC. http://www.cdc.gov/chickenpox/about/transmission.html The virus can also be spread from people with shingles by contact with the blisters, causing chickenpox.
