I'm ready for fall as well to start my last semester of prerequisites . Waiting for acceptance letter for spring 2013 need classes to keep my mind occupied . As far as books other than my a/p book which was used .. I have rented used books for all my classes and never had issues where just like new so it saves money for sure. Good luck to everyone !!!! I am so with you.. I am applying for the 2013 spring fast track program I was told to send in early so I have sent in and they have processed it but since for spring I won't know anything till October or December they said . well ive got one semester of pre requs left and i just bought one for my fall semester after a/p 1 book ,lab book, notebook i decided to try i read some stuff online that said was helpful . i figured i need to save my back for future work....i think im going to really like mine..may not be as cool or whatever but im 38 and done hair for 20yrs so take care of your body is more important

i just did same thing ,except mine was 4 weeks ..crazy final grades not up till wednesday but looking like C+, i also am already signed up for 2 in the fall and i dont really want to waste time taking again either. think just going to apply and hope fori best all my other grades are good .i did hear an instructor say she thought they did consider the fact it was a summer session and that it bumped it a little but not sure its true. god luck to ya

i am 38 and have been a hairstylist/salon owner for 18 yrs and i am in my 2nd semester of pre reqs. its is getting tougher but i love it. im taking a biology class and got to help with a science bowl at our school today, our proffesor let us prenursing students work with the nursing lab and a real cadaver. it was great ,really let me kn ow this is what i want to do even more. we got to draw blood on manequin. it was great being able to get a taste of what the future holds.the work is going to get hard but it will all be worth it. good luck to ya

i am taking bio 1 right now and it is tough...wasnt a requirement but highly reccomended by advisor to help with a&p and micro...ive heard it is helpful..i hope so..so much info to remember but guess have to get used to it

im 38 and in my 2nd semester starting friday....i am loving school ,it is tough working and everything but i am so glad i made the decission to do it after years of wanting too..you will do fine ended 1st semester with 3.75gpa not bad for not being in school for 20 years

i am 38 i am starting my 2nd semester this spring in2 days actually...and you will be fine it is hard work but very doable.....just show up, pay attention and study and you will be fine..good luck
