My first quiz in A &P1 was yesterday and our first test will be on the 11th . Soo nervous

I am 20 years old and I have two semesters of pre reqs left to complete I have no kids and I'm not married I also work full time as a PCT at a local hospital !!! Good Luck :)

I'm taking A&P 1 w/Lab , Principles of Chem, college Algebra

My brother was just accepted to a university BSN program with a 3.06 GPA. He had a really great TEAS Score though .

Right now I'm taking Anatomy and Physiology 1 with lab and gen chem 1 with lab ! :) in a 6 week accelerated course .

Sorry , but as for study tips you need to get the syllabus now and the textbook and begin reading and get some anatomy flash cards from amazon or something and begin studying the chapters a head of time . Other than that good luck :) wish you all the best .

I'm taking AP 1 in a 6 week course now and It's hell. So I can only imagine 4 week. I do know a friend who has done this and received an A . He said that he had to drop all his other courses so he could pass this class . That's really difficult and in order to be really successful you need to not have any other courses with it and be really determined.

Hello everyone I see that every one is preparing if not ready for BCC in the fall . Im taking A&P 1 /Gen Chem 1 in the summer and will be taking A&P II/Micro in the fall ! Good luck to all..

thats what im doin but my A&P class is covering chapters 1-15 in a 5 week session. im on chapter 7 and i still have another month til class start

i have do have AP lab twice a week but not chem the lab isnt a requirement

Well it really depends on whether your school goes solely on gpa and test score or a point system where it's easier for some with the minimum gpa requirement to get accepted because there are many other factors that contribute . However I know plenty of people who has been accepted in nursing school with 2.5 Good luck

Thank you ! I really try and put my best foot forward because I know that's its possible! And I gotta work so I learned to not make excuses and stay focused and its taken me a long way!

I'm taking gen chem . I would die if it included o/chem and bio/chem !

It's definitely doable ! I'm taking anatomy and chemistry this summer in a condensed 5 week course . But a lot of people have handled two sciences at a time because they were really dedicated. Just know that hard work is easy work if you work hard ! Good luck to you!

Monica AP 1 isn't flexible with my work schedule so I'm stuck with the two science at one time

Thanks guys ! I'm going to be taking it with AP 1 but I did take honors chem in high school and gotta A. but that was 3 years ago . Is there anything I can do to prepare myself?? I know it's gonna b hard but I as long as you guys say its doable then I should be able to as well with hard work and determination ! Thanks !!

I am also taking AP 1 in a 5 week session along with chemistry . I am super NERVOUS but I know plenty of people who done this and pulled out with A's in both so hopefully we can do the same!! Is there anything else I can use to prepare myself for the class because I don't have a book yet. Thanks

Hi I have been reading alot of the threads lately and I see that you guys are good at giving advice. I just have one quick questions is it smart to take chemistry in a 5 week summer session ? I want to get my PRE reqs done but I'm not sure if that's smart because I know there is chemistry on the HESI so I want to have a strong foundation in Chem for the exam . Will I still be prepared for the chem part of the exam if I take the 5 week summer sessions VS a regular term in the fall? Please help ! Thanks
