  4. Hi brainfried....Good Luck!!!! You Can Do It!!!!!:) My suggestion is to keep the anxiety level down if there are any techniques you can use to calm it down... Claim your fame:nurse:
  5. Hi sky2010...I recently failed Nclex on my first attempt and I to spent my whole summer studying. I guess its just different strokes for diffent folks. I was told to study like its my first time all over again. I wish you the best of luck as my heart goes out to you. I agree with caliotter3...Keep at it!
  6. I would agree....Pray for the best... Try to think positive.... Good Luck to all Nclex takers of September!!!
  7. I have been studying each day except Sundays. I usually read a few chapters each day as well as 100 Q&A....I was told by several Nclex takers that were successful .....Do as many Q&A as possible and read all the rationales whether I have answered correctly or incorrectly. Then for the ones I have incorrectly answered to do research in Saunders which has great content. Does this sound somewhat like the study plan you used? I will try the 5 days a week with 2 days off to relax... and I hope you have had a chance to do plenty of that:pThank you!!!!
  8. shockable_rhythm..... so the Qbank is really good? Can you tell us bout how many questions we can practice and if the rationales pretty good in comparison with Saunders?
  9. hi dollbw....congrats!!!!!! can you please let the rest of us nclex pn reviews know what study materials worked for you? i am currently using saunders and lacharity......
  10. Good luck to the both of you....I really hope that you both will hear something soon to sooth your minds for better or for worse. Try to think stay positive. I failed my first attempt earlier this month so I know how hard it may be but the proof is in the pudding (your results).....Good Luck!
  11. Hi gigi01......CONGRATS!!!!!!! Way To Go! I am really happy for you!:yeah:
  12. Thanks crazykate. I want to thank those of you who are dedicated to all nurses and even though you have been successful, you have not forgotten about those of use who are still in the struggle of mastering Nclex. Your kindness is greatly appreciated!:redbeathe
  13. Thanks for the advice....I will be making my second attempt as well in Nov. I wish us all the best and thank you to those who have mastered Nclex and continue to support those of us who are still in the struggle!!! I only have a few weeks so I am ready to roll.
  14. Congrats! You have mastered Nclex.....I know that has to be a "Great feeling" as well as a great accomplishment. I recently failed boards on my first attempt and boy are you inspiration to me. I am not sure if we are allowed to take the Nclex that many times but I am going to keep trying. You did it! :yeah:
  15. Well thanks for your SoCallMatt... I really appreciate your response, just wondering because you don't really hear the hype about the writter of boards on line course. I pray that you ace that baby. I am rooting for ya!
  16. CONGRATS!!!!!!:yeah:I know that's a great feeling. I am hearing to do at least 100 Q&A a day to be successful. Did you do more Q&A than reading each day?
  17. Yes, We read those postings as none of them went into how it turned out...Two thumbs up or down.. Just would like to view results:D
  18. Hi dumb..... First of all Congrats! Did you take the Rn or Pn boards?
  19. Hi all. We were wondering if NCSBN on line course would be worth taking for a review? Could someone please give us some feed back on this course? Interested in purchasing.
  20. Sorry for your loss. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. I took was unsuccessful on my first attempt at boards (Pn). As jonglewarrior recommended I would start studying at any courses I was below pass and then work my way up to near passing. I heard the key is to do atleast 100 questions a day. You may want to also purchase Kaplan Test Taking Strategies book to help with answering questions. We now atleast have some idea what the test is like. Good Luck jonglewarrior!!!! You can do it!
  21. Hello krazykate.....CONGRATS! :yeah:I can not wait to be in your shoes. :crying2:Pass Pass Pass!!!!. I will retest the beginning of Nov. I have been reading the Saunders Book word for work taking my notes to review... on my good days a 100 Questions a day. Are there any suggestions that you can give me to help me master Nclex and did you take any on line review courses?
  22. Hi there dirrtyxris, I really want to take the time to Congratulate you a job well done. I am still reviewing for the Nclex and I plan to retake in a month or two. I am soooo HAPPY for you! Kudos my friend! I am really hoping that I can master the beast as well. If there are any tips that you can give me I would greatly appreciate it. I am still interested in the materials you offered to be successful on my second attempt. By the way how many hours a day did you dedicate to studying?
  23. Wishing you the best on NCLEX! Knock'em Out! I made my first attempt on Sept. 3, and I had the max....205 questions. I failed and I was wondering where should I start? I have been really down since obtaining my quick results.....Don't know where to start. I took the ATI on line course as well. Many of my classmates passed the first time just by reading Saunders and doing the Cd enclosed as well. I thought about purchasing Kaplain but very expensive.....can you tell me if their course was beneficial....two thumbs up or two thumbs down? Is there some truth to having to wait a total of 45 to 90 days before you are allowed to retest?
