  2. congrats to you! what a great feeling!!!
  3. Congrats to you and thanks for the words of advice.
  4. Try Suzzanne's plan. That is what I'm doing. Perhaps it will help both of us on our next attempt to try.
  5. Hey!! that's awesome. And congrats to you getting that license. Thanks for the words of inspiration too. =)
  6. May this be the best New Years for you and finally got over the hump of that nclex exam. Good luck and hope for the best! =)
  7. Thanks for the inspiring noting. It does feel good to have the RN behind your name. I think that's the most coolest thing. Oh and passing this horrible exam and overcoming it is probably the greatest feeling ever!
  8. WAYYYYY TO GO! congrats to you and all the achievements!
  9. good luck to you!
  10. Hey, I failed the nclex too and it's not so fun studying for this exam. I know it is frustrating and its good that you're not giving up. I am trying to do suzanne's plan and it started with the saunders book. So giving suzzane's plan a shot may not be a bad idea.
  11. Try purchasing the Saunders' 4th edition book and do what suzanne's plan ask for starters. Perhaps it may help. I'm working on it too.
  12. Hi... If it helps, you can try and purchase the saunders book 4th edition. It is from suzanne's plan. And do the first tip. It is what i have been doing too.
  13. Blood Sugar Mnemonic If its high and dry then you must be sugar high! If its cold and clammy then you need some candy! For addison's disease vs Cushing's syndrome addison is skinny ( hypoglycemic, you get weight loss, you got weakness, and you get postural hypotn) and cushing is fat ( hyperglycemic, you get moon face big cheeks, and you retain a lot of Na and fluid)
  14. I just purchased a Saunders book today and read through the first couple of chapters. They are helpful. And i am planning on doing Suzanne's success plan too. Yep, since her first tip requires the 4th ed. It was 50 dollars from where I got it. you can find it at Borders.
  15. I took the learning ext from the NCSBN website and i've found it to be a bit helpful considering the fact that it has many information and some quizzes and test to take after each content. but it didnt help me cuz i failed my nclex.
  16. Hey heavenangel, I really really do hope that you passed! prayers are with you 'till you get the results.
  17. Hey erajanej.. I am so sorry to hear about what happened. I didn't pass my boards 2 weeks ago either and i had prepared for it for months before i decided to take it. I know its difficult and it feels so horrible but you have to keep your faith going, okay? don't give up...i'm right where you are and we can do it. Stay positive...i know, easier said then done, but YOU MUST not give up, never surrender...i'll be praying for us and the others who are in the same boat.
  18. Hey Mench, Yeah, considering getting that Saunders 4th Ed. I am planning to get it myself too. Yeah, I know how hard it is with financially and all. It's really tough. You know, I didn't pass my nclex either and maybe we should try the study plan that Suzanne is offering. Uhm, i didn't realize i was replying to the old posting. It was from November..oops. Hmm...i guess no one is even looking at this.
  19. It is so great to see postings like this that will keep our hopes alive. The words of encouragement really made me feel that there is a chance for me and to others whom are stressed-out and feeling overwhelmed with this nclex testing...thing.
  20. Oh, yeah...that reminds me I have to go and get the Saunder's 4th Ed. for a starting point.
  21. silverdragon, It is nice to know that I still have some hope with taking the NCLEX. I failed mine recently 2 weeks ago and was devastated.
