    Yes, the hospital I work for is currently phasing out LPNs. They don't even offer LPN programs here anymore. They are not requiring that all LPNs go back for their RN (not yet anyway), but they are no longer hiring anything less than an RN.

    I got an A in A&P I and II and Micro. You have to really want it. If you don't and you're just doing it for just SOMETHING to do....you're wasting your time.

    Just go get a study guide. I focused on fractions and long division because I had forgotten it from high school. But the one thing I should have focused more on that I didn't....vocabulary.

    I have been an EMT for 7 years and have been working in a hospital as an EMT for 4 years. EMT's get paid alot more than CNA's. You get to utilize skills rather than be glorified maids.

    I am going to say they are full of it. I've had a 4.0 up until I started nursing school, and I have never studied so much in my life. Unless you have a background in this stuf (which I do) it doesn't come easily to you.
