  1. I'm sorry to hear that you failed. Take a break for now and then hit the books again.
  2. Your scores aren't that bad. Just try to read the information from the book in the areas that you're weaker in. Read the rationales for both the questions you get right and the especially the ones you get wrong. As far as comparing the scores between Kaplan and Saunders, you can't. I did both and to me (IMHO) Saunders was much easier, so of course you're going to think that you're doing better. In my experience, I think Kaplan is a much better as far as questions are concerned, they're a lot more challenging. I also might add, the 24th is my birthday, so you will have some of my birthday luck to go with you, lol. Good luck!!!
  3. Congrats!!! I knew you could do it
  4. My cumulative score on the qbank was 62%. I can't remember all of my qtrainers, but I got a 70% on #5 and 62 on #4. As for qtrainer 6 and 7, I scored 71% and 66% respectively. It looks like you're on a good pace right now. Just keep going over the rationales for all your questions, even the ones you got right but had to guess. Don't forget to use the decision tree, it helps when you're not exactly sure what's being asked.
  5. Actually I think they do post on the weekends. I've had classmates who've received their results on Saturday and Sunday. So just keep checking over the weekend even though the BRN website says it updates M-F.
  6. No problem. Yeah the wait is pretty killer. Let us know how you do.
  7. It normally takes anywhere from 3-10 days to find out your results in CA. You are able to check on the BRN website after about 3 days. But it also depends on if your file is complete at the BRN, if not it may take longer. Good luck to you.
  8. congrats!!! good luck to you in your career.
  9. Congrats!!! Good luck to you in your career.
  10. I just graduated from Mt. SAC, I had to wait 2 semesters after I put in my application. But this was a while ago, and now they have the lottery, so I'm not sure how long its going to take now. Sorry.
  11. Well, that kind of sucks. So the only way to start working is to be thrown to the wolves now, or to wait for a new grad program next year?
  12. That's kind of odd. I've never heard of someone taking their boards before applying for a job and then not be placed in some sort of new grad program. Technically you're still a new grad and should be treated as such. Hospitals have new grad programs all the time.
  13. I know what you mean, I have loans and stuff too. I wanted to get a part time job right after I graduated too, but it wouldv'e only been for like a little over a month then I would have to quit because once I start the new grad program at my job, I won't have time to do both. I think most new grad programs for the first 3 months or so are M-F, well at least all the ones that I know of.
  14. Yeah hopefully it's only 2 weeks. I remember when I did my fingerprints during school, and it didn't take too long to process (I don't think). Do you have family out here in CA that can help you while you wait, so that you don't have to find a job and then quit as soon as you get your results?
  15. Well that's good to hear. How long did they say you had to wait? Just until your fingerprints clear?
  16. So you graduated in May and then moved here and then took the test? I'm not sure but I think that if you attended school in another state and then took boards here, it might take a little longer.
  17. I had a classmate who took hers last Monday and got all 265 questions. She thought for sure that she didn't pass, but she checked 3 days later (California BON) and she found out she passed. Try to be positive and just wait for your results, cause that's the only way to know if you passed or fail. Good luck to you.
  18. Try to hang in there. When did you graduate? Is it possible that your school hasn't sent your transcripts in yet?
  19. Can you be a little more specific as to what you want to know. Explaining both is very long and lengthy. A little direction as to what exactly you don't understand would be a little helpful.
  20. It's really hard to tell whether or not you passed when you stop at 75. People that took the test from my class that stopped at 75 all passed, and that's about 6 of us, so it could be a good thing, who knows. Try to ask your family just to give it some time and that you'll let them know when you find out, because the more they ask the more nervous you're going to feel.
  21. Yeah that's how I felt too. I felt like I was guessing a lot too. Did you stop at 75?
  22. Ahhhh, I see. That kind of sucks. Well I wish you the best of luck with that. Other than that, how do you think you did on the test?
  23. Why do they have to process your fingerprints after you've taken the test? I'm a little confused with this.
