Our hair has to be above our shoulders.. I once saw a coworker bend over to wipe a pt bottom and her long long long pigtail went into the toilet. She pulled her head up and didnt know it went into the toilet and whipped urine everywhere. Needless to say from that day on she wore her ponytail up higher lol

Hmmm I have to many words for your message. None are proper to type. Let me say this.. You are very critical. Everyone has good points and bad points. What are yours? Oh thats right, you typed yours! Did you ever think of becoming a teacher of these people you dislike? Or quiting your job and starting your own business. Then you could be a Boss!. Then people would complain about you.

Thanks you for asking our in put on uniforms.. As we all like to look probessional in our jobs. At out facility we can wear any color. My favorite colors are purple,black, green. (What the heck I have most colors except yellow.) lol I would like to see a top more rounded necklines. I love Cherokee and Landau. Koi, Baby Phat. I go to great lengths to hunt on Ebay for uniforms that are different in color and style than any one else is wearing. Baggy pants are out for me. I like form fitting cloths.. I would like pockets on the top a little wider and deeper. I bought a outfit the other day and never put my hands in to the pockets. When I wore it I noticed the pockets are in the front all the way across. I keep losing my things in there lol. I have a top with stretchable fabric on the sides. Very comfortable! I have gotten many comments on it. I love the pull string ties. Need a pocket for scissors,Alcholol, pens, small note pad.

When I first became a nurse I had trouble when pts were trying to vomit, or I would have to suction them.. I have since gotten over that and nothing bothers me.. I now work with some CNA's and when a pt vomits they are holding their hand over their mouth and heading out the door. lol I told them some day they will get over it.

We had a man whos name was Semore Hiney. He was a proctogolist. I know its amusing. But its a true story. It was hard to keep a smile off your face when you said his name.

Recently I needed to call a oncall Md. I had a critical resident that needed to go to the emergency room.I paged the on call Doctor 3 times. I waited over 1.5 hours he wouldnt call me back. So I asked my supervisor after 1/2 hour if I could call the Medical Director.. She said yes.. The Medical Director asked me how many times I had him paged. Needless to say She chewed him out. He did call me. Hollared at me over the phone.. I told him.. If you had answered your page I wouldn't have called the Medical Director! I have a critical patient that needs to go to the Emergency Room for Evulation. ( The resident had a stroke.). He never apologied to me.. But I didn't care. My Resident came 1st. I could never figure out why he took on call.. If he didn't want to be bothered why become a Doctor!

We have a Dr Weiner and he Hates being referred to as the "hotdog" More than one resident has pronounded his name wrong

The smiley face was just my way of me thinking if I had to take the bitter pills.. I was picturing the pills in my mouth with peanut butter and was smiling at the thought. I met no disrespect to you.

Have you tried taking them with peanut butter? hopefully you like it. :chuckle

thats not a bad PTO package. the most PTO we can accural for 20+ years is 505 thats for parttime and full time workers.. We are able to buy back time if we wish.. glad your winding down.. I have off tomorrow and I love to say up late Friday night.. but being a morning person I'm not lucky enough to sleep in past 7am.. My internal clock has me up for years at 5am to get ready to be at work my 630am.

thanks for the reply. We can be off 2 days from work ( the third you need a doctors excuse to return back to work.) Its counted as one call in. at your 5th occurance -verbal warning, 6th -written warning 7th-- 3 day paper suspension only, 8th -call in termination.. No call no show equals no pay and one step in discipline and a written warning, these drop off after one year. 3 consecutive no call no shows will result in termination..
