Hello and Welcome Don't start off thinking neg. you can do what ever you put your mind to, I am a 36 with two kids (7), (15) and a husband (be on the road) and work full time, So I know it can be done, you just have to pace yourself and you will make it. Keep god first and you will be fine. Good Luck
  11. From what I have seen and heard, you have to have with a GED or a High School Diploma. Good Luck!!
  12. The best thing to do is call and inquire at some of the schools you are trying to get in and ask them what they will except and will not except. To me that is the best way to find out.

I had been running for so long and making up every excuse in the book as to why I should not go back to school. So now I am on the right road to do my purpose in life. I am so excited. :balloons: :monkeydance: :roll
  19. Hey to all Good luck to all of you this summer with Micro, Just from reading the post I see what I will be dealing with in the fall, just starting out, have not been to school in a long while, but really excited. Congrats to all the new fall 06 nursing students:balloons:
  20. all i have to say is, if you did not come into the nursing field for the right reason then they need to give back there license. it is all about the patient, not us, we should always give a 110 percent..............this is what we wanted to do............and you have to look at it like this, the nursing field is in very high demand now, so.........where you want someone else will and will be glad to do it............it just kills me to think a nurse is to good to clean up bm, what if there were no cna's then what are you going to do just let them lye there is there bm. when my 89 year old grandmother was sick and could not do for her self i help the cna's because one......that's my grandmother and two.......i wanted to do it cause she was doing it by herself no one came to help her at all and i am not a nurse yet (in school now) but the whole point is this, if you did not get in this field for the right reason then it is not even worth you keeping your license and if you are in school then get out!!!!
