  12. I am trying to a clear understanding the difference b/n promoting health and preventing illness. When given a case study the two are so similar can anyone define a clear way to know the differences especially in a test? I had a question that asked you are teaching a class of jr. high students about the effects of smoking. Is this promotion of health or prevention. To me it be to promote or prevent but which is the best answer. In all case situations.
  13. Hi, I have also been accepted into the GBCN but I am in undecided what to do. I was also accepted to Clayton State (2yr BSN program) and NGCSU (2 yr ASN) program. I am worried about the cost of Mercer and the amount of time of the program. Do anyone one know about their financial aid and how does most students pay for there tuition. I have small kids so I don't want to worried about tuition? Can anyone give any advice about Mercer vs. the other programs? When you graduate does employers hire based on where you graduate from?

  20. I know someone who got accepted last term and when she received her letter it with all of the orientation info, supplies and various other information. I hope this helps. One of my classmates is also waiting for a response from GPC and Renee Wright informed for her to wait until June if she did not her anything by the first week in June to give her a call. I was standing there with her when she was told that.
  21. MM93, Thanks for the advice! I hope you get called off of the waiting list at Gordon. It can happen because it happened to me when I was called from Clayton's waiting list. If not because you only 4 core classes away from applying for a Bachelor maybe Clayton is where you are suppose to be. If so if you have any questions about my first semester I be happy to help in the event I decide to go to Clayton. I still trying to make my choice. I wish I had more feed back:uhoh21:
  22. Yes I have my Husband as support with the kids sometimes his job requires him to travel so I am just planning for the future. With BSN program my longest days are the clinicals days and the rest of week out of classes by 2:30 whereas the ASN One day class is from 8:30-12:30 and clinicals 6:30-possibly 3. I would have to leave my house at 5:00 am to get to the clinical depending on if that site is one that is 74 miles. BSN clincial sites are within 20-40 miles of my house. The ASN doesn't require as many days of class interaction.
