Hello everyone; I took my NCLEX test on July 10, 2008 and passed:nurse:. I was interested in finding how long it took everyone who passed the NCLEX to receive their new nurse license numbers on the BON website. I am anxiously awaiting my number. thanks

Hi Reidme, Not exactly sure when they do their hiring I think it is during the time that the nursing schools in the area will be graduating. I applied for my position in March 1st and they called around April 25th or so.. I graduated May 10th. I know that different departments hire at different times. You can call the nurse recruiter to find out exactly when they will be hiring for the different departments. If you need additonal information you PM me and ill help as much as I can.

Hi Sarah06w, I recently got hired with Atlanta Medical Center, and from what I understand in my paperwork your tuition reinbersment starts once you pass your boards after orientation. They give you all the info after your hired if you have any additonal questions PM me and ill fill you in hope this helps......

Thanks for the opportunity to as questions about L&D. I will be graduating May 2008, I have a interveiw with a the L&D mangers in the hospital that I want to work with. Do you have any idea of what types of questions are mostly asked during the interveiw process? I am very excited about possibly becoming a L&D nurse. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.. Hello I attend Clayton State University I am a senior graduating in May. This school has a great program, it may seem like it takes forever to finish but time does go by fast. There is no wait list and it is very competetive with over 200 applicants and they only accept 40-50 students. My advice do well on your prereqs try to make As or Bs to make your self the most competetive if you have any addition questions just let me know good luck!!
