  1. They may ask for your VSC if you have not submitted it with your application and they may also ask pay stubs for the past four months.
  2. May I know what RFE did they asked from you and when they requested it?
  3. congratulations!!! may i know where your sc is? thanks and again congratulations!!!
  4. The first question you have to ask yourself is where do you intend to work? If you would rather transfer to california then go ahead and apply for licensure there. But if you like to stay in Texas it is better for you to apply for licensure there and meet their requirements than to apply for endorsement. Which will only cost you more time and money as Silverdragon102 has stated because you still have to meet all requirements of the BON as a foreign educated nurse. Step 1 Go to the website of your preferred state and see the requirements needed for licensure. Step 2 Download or request application packet from the BON you prefer. Step 3 Fill out application packet and complete all needed requirements (fingerprint card, transcripts etc...) and submit to BON Step 4 Wait for your eligibility Step 5 Once made eligible you can register to Pearson Vue and schedule your exam. Good luck.
  5. PD - Nov. 7, 2006 I140-Approval Aug. 6, 2007 Hope to get I485 approval in a few months. Congrats to those who got their GC from NSC. I am praying that the rest of us will get our GC's too before the end of the year.
  6. I hope that Nebraska SC will release approvals soon. Anyway thanks for your reply Suzanne.
  7. Any news on those who applied for AOS in Nebraska SC? Is there anyone out there who got approved recently? Are all approval for I-485 only coming from Texas SC at this time? Hope to hear approval coming from Nebraska SC.
  8. How long will you be away? Is it limited or does applicants for AP decide when they want to comeback? Pls do shed some light to this when you come back. What was the reason you made to ask for AP? Goodluck!
  9. What is a valid reason to get an AP? I've been here for a year, had an AOS and I miss my family will that be a good reason to apply for AP? Thanks in advance for you inputs on this.
  10. It is EAD. Employment Authority Document which is issued while application for AOS (adjustment of status) is still pending.
  11. It was the embassy who withheld their visas. Their reason for doing so was that she still havent passed her NCLEX and her fee for training will only be $10/hr which they (embassy) said would not be enough to support them if they will all go. Training is for 3 mos and will only be getting the contracted pay after accomplishing the training. The children were included in the DS-230.
  12. Hello everyone I need your opinion on something, my cousin was petitioned by an agency and is already here (USA). She came here (USA) ahead of her family but the thing is not everyone were given a visa. Only her (a nurse), her husband and one child were given a visa. The other two visas were held for the reason that she need to pass her NCLEX. She came here (USA) as an immigrant in November took the exam and passed. When she sent her result to her husband to show it to the consul they said that they can no longer give the visas to her other two children because of the retrogression. Should they have all been given a visa when they were interviewed? if not it should have been issued once she has shown proof of passing the exam. Please anyone share some light on this matter...
  13. On the receipt notice the receipt date is Oct 23, if i check it online it says that they received it on the Nov 7. I just assumed the latter as my pd.
  14. I-140 filed on Oct 20 with priority date of Nov 7. No change in status yet. (Nebraska SC)
  15. Yes, you MAY definitely do so.
  16. Actually i did not bring my ATT with me. I have a copy in my email which I printed and used when I went to the testing center to take the exam. I did not bring any review material as most were saying that it might be grounds for denial of entry. I had them mailed before I left the Philippines and by the time I got here it was already here.
  17. The processing is the same whether you apply for licensure in the US or in the Philippines. It is better if you apply for licesnsure while still in the Philippines and just come here when you already have your ATT. There is also a high possibility that you might not get your eligibility if you will apply for licensure here, while on your stay as a tourist. I just want to share this with you... I went here on a tourist visa in Sept 2005 and applied for licensure at CA BON (thinking that I will be made eligible) but unfortunately went back to the Philippines before I could get the eligibility ( I was only given 3 mos of stay). Got my eligibility on January 2006 from (CA BON). Registered at pearsonvue and got my ATT. (ATT is valid for a year) Came back here on August 2006 took the exam on Sept. Got the result on October and a few days after that my employer petitioned me before the cut-off date. Hope this helps...
  18. I took the exam here on a tourist visa but I came here when I got the ATT and ready to take the exam. Took it in Sept and got the result in Oct and my employer filed a petition before the cut-off. Be sure that when you come visas for nurses will be available. It is not a good idea to become out of status here.
  19. As you have stated you are still in the process of applying for licensure for CA BON you still have a long way before you get eligible to sit for the exam. Be sure to set your scheduled departure when you already have your ATT with you and there is already visas available for nurses. This way you will not waste time and money. If you have yet to submit your application to CA BON, most of the members here would suggest that you try a different state (VT, NM) for initial licensure and just have your license endorsed to CA.
  20. Your eligibility for Vermont BON will be valid for 2 years which means that you can register with pearson vue within the validity. once you registered you will be getting the ATT which will have a validity of 90 days. you have to be able to take the exam within 90 days or you will forfeit your ATT and have to reregister to pearson vue and have to pay them again.
  21. Congrats... When did you apply for it? I received my biometrics appointment today and I applied for AOS last Oct. 23. How long did you wait for your EAD?
  22. your transcript should come from your school but you can ask them if you can mail it yourself so that you can track your docs and mail it by dhl or fedex.
  23. use the middle name which you go by right now. if you are now using your maiden name as your middle name then that is the middle name you should follow. applications may also ask if you have a maiden name or other names used and you can indicate it there.
