I loved US, but I did not understand Physics enough to pass the test, untill you pass the test you will probably work as on call, It is cut thoat in the sence that the whole Radiology Dept is vying for the attension of the Radiologist. on night shift you will get guys that get racked in a bar fight ,and you have to do a testicular in the deep dark recesses of the radiology dept, you have to be strong when you see somthing not good,have a poker face. I loved the work , the scaning,hated leaving my son .

most problems I've seen are in the nurses notes.The md's just can't write at all, or they write beautifuly.The Doc's that cant write should be called on the carpetby administration or midnight clarfication calls.

Not if somenoe just coughed right in your face, you can't wear a mask all day long ,and outside an arms length it tough to do for the pateint.

MRSA is so intergrated into the pubic now , we take care of people that ,for whatever reason , cant get their arms up , forgot how to cover the mouth , coughing in our faces for 8 -12 or 16 hr shifts . How often are ABT 's changed in mid steam ,one started before the C&S come back, then changed. Work in LTC any length of time 9 chanses out of 10 we all have it .
