I have mixed thoughts as I don't think that unadulterated poppycock should be left uncontested... but on the other hand, it would be so nice if the poster of was not left unrestrained to continue the daily dumpings which are in direct contrast to all medical evidence and with millions of lives and hospital systems solvency on the line...

Obviously it could have. The irony is that the protestors that coordinated with teh President to stampede all our state capitals and harass as "tyrants" Governors that were tirelessly trying to keep their citizens alive, attacking public health officials, and pushing to reopen prematurely and unsafely on the grounds it was supposed to save the economy, are the very ones who put millions of small businesses under and have tanked the economy.

Because most states already have a pandemic response team coordinated by the State Board of Nursing which is going to be able reach everyone and are already providing this info to care facilities throughout their states. given the antibodies are only present up to 3 months, it would make sense not to stake millions upon millons of lives on "herd immunity" which I daresay is being thrown around buzz style by people who couldn't pass a simple statistical science exam were their very lives dependent upon doing so. making it all the more preposterous to have alleged clinicians promoting it as a save all.

he North American Trade Agreement has nothing do do with China, nor is Mexico a critical path in the PPE supply chain. Asia, not Mexico has been the benefactor of US offshoring and automation the more so. I do agree that supply chain , JIT and all this crap that big business has been promoting since the late 60's with the help of the GOP McConnell types, is a mistake with respect to national security and critical industries.

from my experience it's learned behavior passed on down by the parents, or limited exposure where someone collectively tars an entire race based on a single bad experience. in the former case, hopefully the kids get away while they are young enough to experience a more open mindset elsewhere.

it spread because of the political calculations and indifference of a failed administration, and because people refused to do what they needed to do, largely because they were getting a mixed message. Obviously it didn't "have to" (or whatever you're spouting) as Canada did what we would have done if we still had President Obama or President Bush and snuffed it right out. Along with many other nations.

You'd have every right to be. I'm appalled that the two or three people consistently promoting this tripe are apparently free to do so despite it being a professional nursing site. Even the elderly who died from Covid would likely have lived another 10 years had they not been infected, largely d/t the result of an authorative administration concerned only on it's re-election prospects and unsympathetic public who refused to do what needed to be done (ie, social distance and mask wearing)

Had everyone just done what they were supposed to, social distance and mask wearing, we'd be out of this mess by now or at least be nearing the horizon. While I'm sure you think spamming every thread and creating new ones parroting far right extremist talking points is amusing entertainment, it actually is not. When lives are on the line AND the economy you are endlessly professing concern for ironically, It's psychotic behavior in my opinion. Not to mention tiresome.
