Plan B!

This is a just for fun question!

Did you have a plan B in nursing school? Like if you failed or did not like it. I know most people were probably all in or this was their one and only chance to further their education so I don't mean to be insensitive to those situations. My plan B is radiation technology.

No plan B for me. I went through too many sacrifices and believed God had told me to pursue it. I'm committed to getting there.

I started off trying to complete all prereqs to get into a competitive BSN. I ended up completing some prereqs, becoming a CNA, taking more prereqs, then becoming an LVN. I'm now in an ADN program.

I will get there eventually! 😀

There's a strip club just up the street from campus... so yeah, there's that. Lol

I've got two left feet so that's not an option for me! :roflmao:

Depending on your "best before" date, Seeking Arrangements might be an option.

Um, no. Who goes into something thinking "now if I blow this, I'm going to do X"? Way to set yourself up mentally for failure!

Not a problem on the pole.

No way ....it was too big of a time commitment and financial investment. My only "plan B" would have been to pull myself together and get it right.

Word to that, girlfriend!

I will be honest and admit that I did not work as a CNA before entering nursing school so even though I tried to gather information online and ask my nurse friends about thier jobs I knew I would not know what I was truly getting myself into until clinical.

I'm not the type of person that will ever find my passion in their work (or at least I dont think I am) so I went into nursing optimistically but for financial stability. That being said I spent five years in a job I completely loathed (dental assisting) so I at least want to like my job a little.

That's the main reason I have a Plan B.

Failure was never an option. But I suppose if I HAD failed..."Plan B" would have been either getting back into school or staying a SAHM!

I would have enlisted in the Coast Guard.

I didn't have a plan B since failure was not an option. It was not as if I had the good fortune of a rich uncle to financially support me in case I failed out. People tend to change their outlook when they have no one else on which they can depend.
