Reality?

haha I love that "I think I'm having chest pain" ...."I hope not...that's a lot of work".

Some things we would like to say, but can't.

Yeah definitely funny but also sucks for nurses that do feel this way

It definitely illustrates the complexity of nursing. Though when a patient starts having trouble, usually everything else falls to the wayside, at least for me.

Oh, the state of hospital nursing today!!!

Very funny! I feel bad for nurses that are really in this situation though! Thanks for sharing!

Has nothing to do with the nursing shortage, has to do with facilities not staffing appropriately. But yeah, I feel like that most days. Especially loved the "You're supposed to be my stable patient." Isn't that always the one that gets you?

this is hysterical hahahaha :rotfl:

This is my everyday life at the psych hospital I work at. I had 15 patients last night with 1 tech and by the end of my shift this morning I still had 3 more admissions coming in making it a total of 18 patients for 1 nurse!!! :banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:

"I havent peed in 8 hours" HAHAHAHAHAHA sounds like a typical day!

Thanks for this posting. Ironically hysterical!!!
