  1. I am planning to apply but I don't know if I would get into the Summer session as I have just requested transcripts. Also does anyone know if CSUSM finds W's on transcripts really unfavorable? Did you guys have any W's?
  2. Look at the admission requirements for the schools you want to apply to. All the ones I am looking at says you need at least a "C" in the pre-nursing core classes and the science courses. I would retake the class to get a better grade.
  3. lol at the 2nd half
  4. LO that's a good one too! So true!
  5. Yeah definitely funny but also sucks for nurses that do feel this way
  6. Reality?
  7. I guess I shoulda reworded my title... I know that men DO suffer from burnout, it just seems that from the people I have met that worked in health care, men have more endurance. Interesting!
  8. Yah women are more likely than men to over analyze everything lol
  9. Yah, I guess men aren't as vocal about it as women are
  10. I know there aren't as many male nurses as females but the ones I have met all seem to seriously love their jobs and don't complain much. I have also met physical therapists and the females were the ones that were burned out. Do you think men in healthcare last longer in their healthcare related field than women do? Is it cause women are more emotional than men and will suffer from 'compassion fatigue'? Or are male nurses treated better?? What are your thoughts?
