great. so i need to wait another month to see how much i am getting in govt loans and then some time to apply and get a response from a private loan and then another MONTH to get it processed by nova? and tuition is due the first day of classes. or is it deferred til november like at my old school UF? uhh is anyone else doing this or should i do this a different way?

He said tuition is due 30 days after the first day of classes. Though in the acceptance letter, it says its due earlier. I dunno. This entire thing is a little flusterating.

OK... going off topic. Does anybody know what color our scrubs are going to be? I heard a blue color ( Is that like JD or Turk from scrubs? lol)

The scrubs are going to be like a turquoise color...its not blue but its not green either...it's somewhere in the middle.

Anyways, I haven't heard anything yet from the Scholars Program yet. I know some have already been set up for an interview though. I spoke to one of the students who is in the program right now (his second semester) and he said it's really crazy. The schedule is like Mon-Fri and then some days they have you come in at 8am other days at 10...and then you have two days where you get off by 1pm but then they'll change it on you last minute and make you stay later. My guess is that they want you to be flexible and not expect a set schedule.

Anyone hear any information about anything lol?? I feel like we're being kept in the dark about everything. I'm going next week to speak with a financial counselor and to pay my other $500.

just got calling in for an interview!! I'm going in tomorrow! soooo excited!

I also got called for my interview too...I originally had it for tomorrow at 1:30pm but my grandmother just got discharged from Baptist Hospital for a big surgery so they called me today to see if I would prefer next Tuesday. So I went ahead and changed it for next Tuesday at 8:45am. Good luck to all of you going tomorrow. I have a friend who is in the Scholars Program but for FKCC and she said that the interview is just like the Nova interview except it's a panel of people. I'm sure everything will be fine. Let me know how it goes!

Sooo, how did everyone's interview go today?

The interview went good. I had a panel of like 5 women. All basic questions. What do you think makes a good nurse? etc... I was soooo nervous though. Good luck to you all. It wasn't too bad. Just like 15 min.

yeah i had my interview yesterday at 1:30 i was SUPERRR nervous and i got super red! LOL but after the first 2 questions i felt a little more comfortable. It was pretty much 2 questions for each member of the panel. it wasnt too bad.
