My Dad......

My mom called and told me that the CTscan, and MRI were both clear. They also did the surgery this morning and removed more tissue from his arm.

So, tentatively....YAY! He is still set up for the oncologist and I am still a little paranoid, but....

The Dr said he has never seen it just localized on the arm and not have come from the lungs, etc.

So there's the update, you guys!

TY for the support and I will let you know if there are any changes.

Thanks, Leslie. He had a lump on his arm, that was found to be small cell carcinoma.

Thanks for the update...hope that things consider to go well..

That's great news. Hope things continue to go well :)

that is wonderful to hear :) Im glad everything is looking up for you :)

Working in an Oncology office I can see some of your anxiety. These kind of issues can be very scary and emotional. But it sounds like the Dr.s are doing their research and finding what exactly is happening. You sound to be very attentive and not jumping to conclusions. If you have any questions for them ask them. It is better to have all the info. than to assume anything or randomly " google" internet info.

Best wishes for you and your dad in this journey and hopefully things will come to a positive conclusion.

Thanks, Jules-I will.

I am tentatively (slowly?) happy dancing. :yeah:I am so HAPPY for you - both for the scare, which makes it an imperative to spend more time with your dad and enjoying that time for the two of you - and for the relief - which gives you statistically more time to spend. :)
