MPACers

i was told multiple times that they are scheduling june. just talked to them early this week ... i guess it will me when it comes..i plan on taking lynn's workshop again in houston in feb so it cant be before then...need date though something to look forward to....

my app was completed 7-11-2008, but i will be forced to re-submit some of my info because it will expire...tb and possibly health status form:scrm:. i'm just testing in plano so i might just get a date in 2099...lol

hey you people. i talked to marge yesterday. she said she is pretty close to scheduling me (may 19th acceptance of application date), but it's questionable whether i will be scheduled a date in february. i didn't ask her if she was talking about the year 2009 or 2099. ha! i started a brand spankin' new job this week (forced job change, unfortunately), so it's of some importance that i know when the heck i test asap, but i was cordial. i applied for all five wisconsin sites, btw.

who else are my mpacers in allnurses.com land, and when did you apply and all that good stuff? let's wallow in our own waiting misery.

I applied the end of April for general MPAC. Got my date the end August and test out in November. So: 4 months to get date, 7 months total wait from that application date. They are sending me to Mansfield OH on Nov. 14th.

I requested 3 weeks notice (I think that was the maximum and did accept cancellation dates.) I did not have to call and ask at the testing centers when my date was going to be, Excelsior notified me via email. But I've heard that some people get in faster if they call the test center and check in often.

My gosh, good luck to all you waiting.... at least its extra study time!

i probably could get a date faster if i could apply to all the mpac's but since i have a husband who needs a mother near by and attaches himself to my leg when i'm trying to leave out the door...i'm stuck in plano which is about 1.5 hours from me. believe me i would rather fly so he would not bother my concentration...

I was given the option of several dates, a couple of them being in December. I took January 23, 24, and 25 in Racine. Not bad! Now I have to forward that on to the disability people for my latex disability. :)

you know this is right around the corner....wow they make you wait 10 years then push ya though......i guess for me it feels like a long time cause i was done with my theory exams 1/10/08 but had to wait in order to get money together....

I applied September 24, 2008. I have called a couple of times and I have been told that there is a 7-9month waiting period.

i called again to check on the status of my app...they must think i am a stalker by now and guess what....they are still on the first week of june...there must be a lot of people that applied the first week of june cause they have been working on it for several months now:rolleyes:....

I also called yesterday and they said they were working on the first week in June. You must be right everyone must have applied then. I can't imagine it would take a month to schedule one week. At this rate it will be 2099! My app was accepted 11/3. No telling when I will get a date.

okie dokie..i just got off the phone with the mpac and they are now at the end of june with scheduling. i was told i should be contacted with a date first part of december:yeah:....hummm bout time...me gettin anxious...
