Hey you people. I talked to Marge yesterday. She said she is pretty close to scheduling me (May 19th acceptance of application date), but it's questionable whether I will be scheduled a date in February. I didn't ask her if she was talking about the year 2009 or 2099. Ha! I started a brand spankin' new job this week (forced job change, unfortunately), so it's of some importance that I know when the heck I test ASAP, but I was cordial. I applied for all five Wisconsin sites, BTW.

Who else are my MPACers in allnurses.com land, and when did you apply and all that good stuff? Let's wallow in our own waiting misery. :D

just got off the phone with the mpac and they are now scheduling the first week of july...she told me to call back friday and see where they are. i did get offered a cancellation date in racine in 2 weeks...lol right anyway. i hope to have a date soon....

Maybe they are moving along. Are you trying to get in at Plano? I put Amarillo but I would probably take anywhere if I could get a date sometime before next summer!! How does the cancellation thing work? I put that I would take a cancellation date but not sure if they go down a list or if you call you get it regardless of when you registered. Do you have any idea? Thanks for all your info:)

i wouldn't mind going to amarillo but my husband would..lol i live about 1.5 hours from plano so i thought i would just stick out the wait...i am however becoming more impatient by the day. i do believe the cancellation list works like this..they move down the list until they fnd a taker for the day they are calling about. i do know for 100% sure that you can call them and get one as well. i dont just mean my limited cpne schedualing expereince either. if i am not mistaken this is how nc girl is testing this week she called and got a date.

I don't want to rain on anyone's parade, but my application from May 19th with 5 Wisconsin sites didn't get assigned a date until October 31st, which was well after they were scheduling the June dates. This was incredibly frustrating to me, but when I got that call at 4 p.m. on October 31st, I had several choices of dates, 1 or 2 of which were in December, some in January, and some more in February.
