would you like to work in a hospital with a "Healing Sky Garden" ? It's a hanging garden that provide a welcoming, fragrant, full of color, a place to relax, convene, and have a small group discussion. The Healing Sky Garden not only allows nurses to experience the restorative benefits of being around nature but also provides naturopathic therapies such as "Aromatherapy", "Hydrotherapy" (ex. spa and hot tub) and "Vibroacoustic Therapy" (a type of music that is capable of assisting its listeners in reaching slower brainwave states), "herb tea therapy" (teas that are made with variety of fruits, herbs and spices, and most importantly, it's caffeine free) where nurses will remember it as a special experience.

Actually, I'd like to work in a place that has enough staff so I can actually get my break.

Yippie....where do I sign up? :loveya: :w00t: Translated ......yes I would. Oh but wait, back to reality. I work in an ER with squad fumes, smells like a bar after 2:00 am on weekends, and relax....I'll have to look that word up. Forgot what it means.

i love this concept for rejuvenation of the nursing staff!
meanwhile, i think it helps to meditate on pleasant rejuvenating things in the world sometimes while at work every once in a while...a beautiful ocean scene (carmel beach is my favorite! near monterey ca)
then again i think our patients could use a little r and r...
possibly set up beautiful gardens in front of every room to look out onto possibly have a heated pool in a forested environment where they could be clad in wet suits and or floats and enjoy a weightless environment with clean fresh air and sunshine
howabout an outdoors icu where they could experience the natural progression from morning to twilight and not be bombarded with alarms
these are just dream concepts. please don't chirp in here and say how loony telerner is! :paw: :paw: :paw:

I did work at a place with all of that stuff. Unfortunately after running my legs off all night every night, it became obvious it was a lovely benefit for hospital administration. They had their meetings there and their lattes. We were told it was for our use but never happened.

Sounds great.
Really, I want to spend the least amount of time at work. I love my job but nothing beats putting my feet up, eating, and sitting in front of the tv in my own home.
