Two dismissals (one vomiter) and it is 8:07. School started at 8:00.

A parent stopped me in the parking lot as I was getting out of my car to tell me a kid threw up in the cafeteria this morning, 12 more stopped me in the hall to tell me. Why didn't I just get back in the car when the first one stopped me!!??

My morning started by seeing a HUGE spider in the hall on my way to my office. There was a teacher in his classroom right where I was and I asked him to come out and smash it. He put paper towels on the little bugger and stepped on him. Gross!

Friday, come sooooon!

I feel so giddy because today is my Friday! I am going to be walking out with a pep in my step

I was up very late because Casa del Tomato has a noisy raccoon squatter in the attic. That bum hasn't offered to help with the mortgage and was basically tap dancing on my ceiling all night.

A parent walked over to my car as I was getting out of it this morning to tell me he was dropping off a new supply of meds. He couldn't have waited in the office for that? Really? Something about being assaulted with work tasks before I even walk into the building puts a sour taste in my mouth.

My kids seemed to have calmed down some though. The beginning of the week was a ZOO. I guess the 9 days off from school for Thanksgiving wasn't enough of a break because about half of them were begging to go home. Chumps. I sent them packing. I had time to finish my winter bulletin board today which is nice.

But still... Friday.
