Well the time is almost here. my inerview a Nazare Hospital is tomorrow. I am so happy but very nervous. i have been hired for every job i interviewd for so i guess i ave good interview skills. but i nevere inerviewed for a job at a hospital, is it different? i kow thats a vague question but i am basically asking for advice and any tips you may have. thanks!

What position are you interviewing for? Not that it matters exactly ... be confident!! Go in to your interview with positive thoughts and remember -- good help is hard to find and very valuable!! Interview them a bit too.... I find that an interview is a decent time to find out about the job and organization too. And yes, working at a hospital is different -- there are a lot of relatively insane (but extremely fantastic) people who work in hospitals!!!

Good luck tomorrow!! Knock 'm dead!!:)

Just want to wish you the best of luck. Let us know how you make out! :)

Dress for the interview with care. It helps to look professional. Also, get plenty of rest tonight. You want to make good eye contact and come across as sure of yourself. If you do not know the answer to a question, tell them you don't, be honest! You may also want to write some questions down that you want the info to as this should be an exchange of information. Take a folder or something to write down questions or to write down info that they tell you about the job as it helps you to be more focused and gives you something to focus on. Good luck and let us know how it goes tomorrow!!

Smile too as you want to be/appear relaxed even if you are nervous. Make sure to thank them for their time too as it also makes a good impression! That's all I can remember from my last interview and they told me that I appeared very confident. I almost cried when it was over because I was so nervous! :uhoh21: I did get the job though!! They told me later that I had a very good skills and appeared confident! :imbar If they only knew, LOL..

Be yourself. Be positive. Don't badmouth any job you've had. Show a willingness to learn. Be prepared to answer that all important question "Why do you want to work here and what skills do you bring with you." Relax.

Good luck!!

HOW DID IT GO?????????????????????? hopefully well!

I had a weird question in an interview a few weeks ago. What 5 negative things would a previous supervisor say about you? Whoa!!!! Just a little tip, I've now started thinking of things normally considered negative and figuring out a way to turn them into positives. Don't know if this is a trend but it sure caught me off guard at that interview.

I Got The Job!!!!!!!! it's on an orthopedic floor, I was offeredf the job right on ther spot, they said i was the only normal person they interviewd and they said i am exactly what they are looking for! i was complemented on my appereance and professionalism. I cant believe i was hired on the spot!!! this is the first time. also i was told by the nurse manger that she will work with my schedule so that i can get my hours and go to school!!! this is such a blessing for me!! i am still in shock! Human resources said that they would process my paper work and then call and schedule my physical, drug test, shots, and orientation. oh yeah this is a full time position 75hrs every pay. i was a little worried about it b/c of my school schedule but the nurse manager gave me assurance:) i am so happy b/c now i will have health insurance. well i cant sit still i am so ready for them to call me. is there anything at this point that may keep me from getting the job? i am a little worried b/c i was told my paper work had to process b/f i could start. i guess they meant criminal background check? well thanks everyone for your advice and support! i will keep you posted!
