Here's how I felt the initial interview at Incorrigible went:

You don't have to answer this here, but wondering how detailed you were during your interview? Wondering if the new employer is aware of your cartooning activities. Maybe you should look for another source of inspiration for the time being. CONGRATS on the rapid hiring. Hope this works out for you.

Hi Davey, congratulations on the new job, enough to keep the wolf from the door but not too much that you feel you are working too much.

I know I said that I was following your story, and I was, but the 'virus' kind of took over so when I went back there were hundreds (or as we sometimes say in Scotland 'hunders') of replies and I went eeeeekk!! TL:Dr Sorry, but I did get the gist.

Enjoy semi-retirement and use it to prepare for full retirement when you feel it is time. The worst part of this lockdown is that all the stuff I was doing to keep me occupied in my retirement has closed and there is only so much cr*p TV I can tolerate. ?

Keep up the cartoons, I do enjoy them.

PS, B, the answer is B. Is there a prize?

What is happening? Every time I save this post the TL:Dr comes out like that instead of with a capital R as I have written. Multiple attempts to correct it have failed.

The answer to the contest was either A or B, depending upon the situation. To those with whom I feel free, or feel I have a right, to express myself as I really am, the answer would be B.

However, with those who I cannot be myself, the answer would be A.

"Whoever did that is an idiot" seem to be apropos, Katie. It seems Those In Charge at Wrongway have a way of cutting their own throats, and I'm not talking about just me.

Some cases in point:

Back in '17, Margie, the geriatric psych manager, made an absurd observation around some of Those In Charge and was suspended over her remark. Margie had worked at Wrongway long before it was bought out by the For Profit Organization and was a hard working pillar of the community.

To suspend Margie was consensually perceived as ludicrously deprecating and she ended up resigning.

I mentioned Colby RN in another thread who worked weekend option on the female psych unit, and I told him at one point, "You're sort of a legend around here". Colby wanted to leave 10 minutes early from his shift because his toddler daughter had been injured and they gave him a "Call Off". Weekend option employees are allowed only two call offs per year or they loose their pay benefit. That was a final straw for Colby and he resigned, getting a better position at another hospital.

I've communicated with Tonya, another psych RN, who left Wrongway after I was terminated. Tonya is a nurse extraordinaire who was an LPN, got her RN, and is working on her NP. Tonya got fed up and resigned.

There are other good nurses who have recently resigned from Wrongway due to administration's idiocracy, so I feel as though I'm in good company.

To add to the ludicracy, Wrongway's administration was proactively getting staff volunteers together for a group to discern "How can we hire and keep quality employees?"

Some other staff members and I were discussing the topic when I said, "That wheel has already been invented. All administration needs to do is to follow in the footsteps of the wise".

I could go on and on, but this thread is about Incorrigible and not the Wrongway.
