As some of you may remember I failed the NCLEX my first time around. I originally sat for the exam in June. I was hired as a new RN grad at my local hospital and ended up taking a position as a CNA because I failed the exam. I took the exam again this past wednesday. I have to say that the whole experience was almost as scary as the first time. What made it better this time though, was that I felt more relaxed and I felt that I had studied smarter. I still had alot of questions.... I don't remember where the computer shut off, but I think it was 235 or somewhere around there.
A big HUG and THANKS to all of you who offered words of encouragement. I thought of you right before I went into the PearsonVue center.
I keep staring at the certificate I received in the mail yesterday....
Registered Nurse....That's what it says I am....can you believe it????!!!!
In about 4 hours from now I'm going to strut into the personel office and have my name badge changed from CNA to RN!
Its a wonderful feeling. I'm still floating on a cloud of happiness!!! :) :) :)
Best wishes to all of you who are taking your exam soon or waiting for results!
