I just got done ordering all my Fall Books

For first semester. I think I got chills and had a panic attack LOL, it's starting to seem more and more real, after waiting for so long, it just always seemed to surreal but now the THIS IS GOING TO HAPPEN SOON, is kicking in and I am such a ball of nerves. LOL :yeah:

You sound like me, Vida! Would you mind listing the books you have to have (just titles and authors)? I'm sure it won't be the same as ours, I'd just like to have an idea of the books required. Our college bookstore won't even give us a list until the week before school starts. :(

super shock to the pocketbook as well. luckily most of our books we use throughout the program.

I ordered quite a few texts (used) over the years, off Amazon, ebay, and ecampus.com. Just have to make sure you're getting the right editions!

I ordered all of mine last week. Every day I have more coming in the mail and they are quickly overtaking my dining room table. I'm glad I have a couple of months to look at this pile before I actually have to dive in. it really is overwhelming.

You should call your dept and get a list with ISBNs. This is like some kind of play to make you purchase the books from them (of course I am paranoid). One woman's college wouldn't give her the ISBNs so she went in to the student bookstore got all of the books together and wrote them all down (Name, author ISBN) and took a photo with her phone.

Mind you it might be that you will get a list during your orientation (most schools do this a couple of weeks before). There is no valid reason for not giving the details to you now.

I haven't even gotten my books yet; I still have to get a physical and a drug test. I recieved a list of books, but so far all I've done is check to see how much the used books are.

Lucky you! I'm not even sure when I can get my books. They only opened up the bookstore last week for those taking summer classes. So I'm assuming fall books won't be ready for a couple more months. I'd love to have them now to get reading!

We had to buy our books in bundles from the university bookstore....it was like over $1500 when it was all said n done, but that's supposed to last us through our entire program.....Things can change though
