I got in!!

Published

I just got my acceptance letter, I'm so happy :D Now the stress to collect all the information, tuition, books, etc before the end of the month begins!

For those wondering (because this helped me when I was applying/waiting)

Here are my scores:

TABE test: 12.9 in all subject areas

TEAS test: 84.7%

Plus I had an interview that I feel went well and an IB diploma from high school as well as B or better pre-reqs for the RN program completed.

Approximately 130 applied for the program and 64 made it through to interviews, of the 64, 24 of us made the final seats. They based it off of these 4 things:

TABE test

TEAS test

Interview score

Medical/Education experience with CNA being a strong plus (I am not a CNA)

Specializes in Oncology/hematology.

Congratulations. I'm so excited for you. The craziness begins soon!

congrats and good luck :)!!

Congrats! And you know to come here for help :)

Congrats!!! I am still waiting and praying. My school based ours on a point system in which one accumulates points for GPA, TEAS(reading and math only) and ACT. They also give special consideration to those who have a degree already regardless of major and/or those who have 24 hours or more of LPN courses. I have a degree already, completed all pre-reqs, GPA is 3.0 (have to have a 2.0 for rn program) Did not do as well on TEAS but u can only take it once per admission term which is either spring or fall and last as long as u have a degree already the required ACT score is 18. So im just crossing my fingers and praying....If anyone has acceptance info for NWCC I would greatly appreciate your input....THANKS...
